Overview
Cricket Score Tracker manages teams, players and their statistics from either a JavaFX desktop interface or the command line, backed by the same domain model. I co-developed it and led its development.
Design
The model is built on an abstract Player class and a StatTracking interface, with Batsman, Bowler, All-Rounder and Wicketkeeper subclasses that each own their statistical behaviour. The interface is declared in FXML and bound to a controller following JavaFX's MVC pattern.
Features
It supports full create, read, update and delete for teams and players, aggregate queries such as top performers, team wins and stat breakdowns, and an algorithm that composes a "Dream Team" automatically. Data persists to CSV and can be loaded at startup through command-line arguments, and a JUnit 5 suite checks the behaviour throughout.
