Overview
For the 2024 school Science Exhibition, our team built a small 12-volt air conditioner around Peltier modules and explored the trade-offs between solid-state and compressor cooling.
Build
The prototype combined Peltier and piezoelectric components with a smartphone-based remote-control system. Our recorded test reached a temperature as low as 10°C.
Recognition
The project received Gold in the exhibition’s Physics category.
